Setup fees are one of the hidden costs that make trying a new AI tool feel risky. RAMELO's Ava has no mandatory setup fee for med spas that already use a supported booking platform — you pay only the flat monthly plan and start the same week.
Short answer: RAMELO's Ava has no mandatory setup fee for med spas and aesthetic clinics already on Acuity Scheduling, Boulevard, Vagaro, Mindbody, Square Appointments, Jane App, GlossGenius, Zenoti, or Cal.com. The no-setup-fee policy applies when your practice already uses one of RAMELO's 9 confirmed booking integrations. In that case, Ava connects to your existing calendar and there is nothing to build from scratch — just configuration and a brief onboarding call. You pay only the monthly plan from day one.
The exception: if your practice has no booking system at all, a paid installation add-on covers setting up a booking integration from scratch. That is an optional add-on for that specific situation, not a fee charged to clients who already have a system.

If you switch from one supported platform to another (for example, from Acuity to Boulevard), the re-integration is a configuration change. Contact hello@ramelo.ai and RAMELO will confirm whether a fee applies. Routine configuration updates are generally not charged separately.
RAMELO doesn't currently advertise a free trial period, but it does offer something many vendors don't: a live demo line you can call before signing up. Yes — both Vagaro and GlossGenius are on RAMELO's confirmed integration list. If your med spa or salon uses either platform, there is no mandatory setup fee. Ava connects to your existing Vagaro or GlossGenius calendar and books appointments live on every call from day one.
